Here it is, the proof that I've actually been doing something. These are toolset shots, so the lighting probably won't be quite the same in game.
Starting with the stuff I've made. . .
Limbo:
I made these areas for Sigil--they're probably not what you first think of after reading a description of limbo, but NWN2 doesn't do "formless" very well. Anyway, its a set of areas themed around elements with less "chaotic" beginning and ending zones.
This was a set of areas done for Beldin that weren't supposed to be planesy at all, but they seem Ysgardian to me.
The interior there was done by Taurus Daggerknight. I don't know if the screenshot really shows off the area very well, but its a pretty nice city done in an interior tileset.
On to vault areas, starting with proposed Celestia zones. Lighting is still in the works.
We start on the shores of the silver sea, with a Lunia area. If it looks familiar, that's because Sigil also has this area as an event area. But its from the vault.
From the shore you climb through a Mercuria section. . .
And arrive in Venya. Don't mind the strange green lines, it was another toolset shot.
The "path" of celestia areas goes all the way up to an abbey in Solania, but I don't have all the placeables in place for the abbey, so no picture yet.
Yes, though I didn't find anything that said "iron cube" to me. I found some things that could make a nice Ocanthus layer though.
Just finished processing Gehenna:
The layer is Chamada, and the last pic here is supposed to be of Nimicri--the planes biggest mimic. Its actually the fugue city area from MotB (its so hard to find good cities).

I got the impression from the description of that layer of Elysium that it was supposed to be dark there (Belerin isn't exactly the most "iconic" Elysium layer). Those were toolset shots, though, so I think it'll be a few shades brighter in game.
Today's project: Carcerie.
I post screenshots after I've "processed" a set of areas (put in transitions, renamed, and done the lighting for, basically), so if there's a picture of it, its "done".

One area I really want to include (with appropriate revisions, of course):
Think secondary set of docks underneath the giant rock our hub town is built on. It needs a name and accompanying purpose, but its cool! Its a pirate cave!
So unfortunately, the vault was lacking in areas that seemed suitable for the Abyss and Baator. I put stuff together, but am not terribly happy with it as a whole. That said, there are some nice areas that got stuck under the "Abyss" heading.

There are also some jungly / yuan-ti hideout caves, but I forgot to take a picture. I am resolved to make some "proper" Abyss levels someday, but there's no time now. . .
